The Technology
identiFi ™, its biometric fingerprint student security and identification software, is used by schools to eliminate the need for swipe cards, PIN pads, proximity readers. and visual student identification. Built as a platform providing a cost-effective, simple and complete student security and identification solution, identiFi ™ uses a student's fingerprint to identify him or her. The software platform integrates the student's fingerprint information with SchoolSoft™ and the school's existing security, attendance, library and nurse's office software applications. It reduces school operating expenses and insures a quick and error-free student identification . identiFi ™ works in conjunction with a high resolution, optical fingerprint scanner. In addition, identiFi ™ does not store actual fingerprints, only templates of unique points that identify the fingerprint. Actual fingerprints cannot be reconstructed from templates which avoids parental objections.
