Privacy concerns - The system will NOT store actual fingerprint images.
It is important to note that at no time will the identiFi ™ software store actual fingerprint images. It will store only templates that are a numeric representation of the minutiae of the individual fingerprint. Although a template can be used for matching, the actual fingerprint cannot be “reconstructed” from a template. This is the main privacy objection regarding finger scans.
