It's just before a long holiday weekend. The lines are backed up with members eager to rent three or four movies. Mr. Jones forgot his membership card and has no driver's license for identification. It's an awkward moment especially since the other customers in line are becoming increasingly impatient as you have to spend valuable time to reissue another card to Mr. Jones. In addition, a lost membership card is found by a thief who proceeds to charge hundreds of dollars worth of movie rentals and purchases. And, a number of your members have “loaned” their cards to their friends and are complaining that they should not be responsible for their charges. Sound familiar?
